Note
In order to better urban insertion of the ring road, a raised cord called "linear forest" is created on the forsaken of both sides of the motorway. Over the entire North-East Paris, linear forest is 24 hectares, of which 4 included in the scope of the BIA.
The forest has a valley, which receives stormwater collected on coastal islands and a bike ride between the Porte d'Aubervilliers and Saint-Denis canal. The valley marks the boundary between an inaccessible part remained wild and gardened part open to walkers.
