Note
L2 bypass is the largest infrastructure building site in France today. Registered since 1933 land-use map of the City of Marseille, this project was the subject of a public-private partnership, signed October 7, 2013 with the Company Bypass L2 for $ 624 million euros. The share funded by MPM amounted to € 150.6 million over 5 years. The bypass should be delivered in 2017.
This ring road 2 X 3 lanes and almost 10 km will bypass the city center between the motorway towards Lyon and Aix-en-Provence (A7) and one towards Aubagne and Toulon (A50).
